In 2017-18 and 2018-19, Edmonton Public Schools will provide $750,000 annually and in 2019/20$875,000 to determine available funds. The annual amount is provided in two equal instalments to the Association`s Edmonton Public Teachers Local 37. The first amount will be made available during the first week of activity in September and the second during the first week of activity in January (for the 2017/18 school year, the first amount will be made available within 30 days of the ratification of the collective agreement by both parties). 1.4 The Board of Directors retains all administrative rights, unless otherwise stated in this collective agreement. 11.2.2 Subject to the conditions of insurance policies for social insurance agencies, teachers on maternity, adoption or parental leave may, through the Board of Directors, arrange to pay 100% of the benefit premiums provided under the existing collective agreement in advance for up to 12 months. 1.7 This collective agreement benefits and binds the parties and their rights holders. 1.1 This letter of appeal is made in accordance with Article 8 of the collective agreement (practical conditions). The parties agree that when teachers` teaching time is compressed and current collective agreements are tacit, teachers are given a break from the extra time provided in the table below. The next 0.25 days are rounded for this calculation. Both parties recognize that flexibility is needed to maintain the board schedule, but also to assure teachers that an extension of teaching days can result in a break for teachers. 1.3.1 has the exclusive power to bargain collectively with TEBA on behalf of all teachers in the bargaining units and to engage teachers in each collective agreement with respect to the core concepts; and four. The Board of Directors must submit the agreed CIF proposals to Alberta Education. The decisions of the CIF committee are not covered by this collective agreement.

15.2 “central post” refers to any object that is in italics in this collective agreement. 8.3.1 Teachers have the right to help define the grouping of students for teaching purposes and to define teaching and other tasks in accordance with the Council`s guidelines and under the terms of that agreement. It is the responsibility of each teacher to provide such training and to carry out the tasks entrusted by the head of the school. 16.7 By mutual agreement between the Board of Directors and the Association, each of the appointments provided for in this clause may be extended, but without mutual agreement, the inability of the grieving party to respect one of the time constraints implies the loss of the claim.
